I am Maria Yuquilima, a proud Hoosier with deep Honduran and Ecuadorian roots, running to represent District 90 in the Indiana State House. My journey has been shaped by family, service, and a commitment to justice. Growing up in Indiana, I learned the value of hard work, resilience, and community support. My family’s military background instilled in me discipline and a sense of duty, while my professional path has been dedicated to immigrant justice, law, and bilingual communications.

I have worked alongside families navigating complex systems, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights protected. That experience taught me that government should be accessible, transparent, and accountable to the people it serves. I believe in strong public schools that prepare every child for success, safe and smart infrastructure that connects our neighborhoods, and healthcare that is affordable and compassionate.
